How to Find a Friend on Hotmail

Hotmail is a free Web email service provided by Microsoft. The Hotmail service is closely tied to the Windows Live line of Web-based products Microsoft offers. If you want to search for another user who uses Hotmail and has a Windows Live profile, you can do so from within Hotmail.

Instructions

1. Sign in to your Hotmail inbox (hotmail.com).

2. Click the "Add people" link under "Your friends" on the left side of the screen.

3. Click "Search for people" under the search box, and then click "Advanced people search" on the next page.

4. Type any information you have about your friend into the provided fields and click the "Search" button.

5. Find your friend in the search results and click on his name.
