Charging Instructions for the Creative Zen V Plus

The Creative Zen V Plus portable MP3 player uses an internal rechargeable battery to power the device. The battery in the Creative Zen V Plus drains after approximately 15 hours of use. The battery indicator on the MP3 player is on the top of the screen. The battery icon will show a triangle with an exclamation point on it when the battery is close to drained. When the exclamation point icon appears, you only have a short amount of operating time left before you need to recharge the battery in order to continue listening to music, watching videos and looking at your pictures.

Instructions

    • 1

Plug the smaller end of the USB cable into the "USB 2.0" jack on the top-right corner of the Creative Zen V Plus.

    • 2

Connect the larger end of the USB cable into a free USB jack on your computer. Use a computer USB jack and not one on a peripheral device, such as a keyboard. The battery indicator will blink on the screen.

    • 3

Unplug the USB cable from the Creative Zen V Plus when the battery indicator stops blinking. A drained battery takes approximately six hours to fully charge.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also purchase a power adapter for your Creative Zen V Plus for times when you do not have access to a computer. You connect the power adapter to the MP3 player in the same manner as the USB cable but instead of connecting the other end to a computer you connect it to a power outlet.
