Plug your iPad into your computer and launch iTunes. Click on the iPad device icon.

Click "Check for Updates" in the iPad Summary screen. iTunes checks to see if any new system updates are available for the iPad. If updates are available, information describing the update appears on the screen.

Click "Download All Free Updates" button. Apple downloads the update files to iTunes. Sync your iPad with iTunes to install the update.
Update iPad Applications

Tap on the App store icon on your iPad to open it. Press the "Updates" button on the top-left of the screen. The App store lists all software updates for applications on your iPad.

Press the "Update All" button on the upper-right of the screen to install all software updates. A prompt appears verifying your account name and asking for your password.

Enter your password and press the "OK" button. The App store installs all application updates on your iPad.
