Create & Send Your Own

1
Design an Easter basket based on the recipient's age and preferences. Traditional Easter baskets can be difficult to pack for shipping, so consider placing the child's gifts in an Easter-themed tin or box instead. Include stickers, Easter grass, candy and toys if desired. If you include food, make sure it is not perishable. Prewrapped hard candy that will not melt in heat is the best choice when shipping over distances. Alternatively, you can also purchase a premade Easter basket at your local retailer.
-
2
Place the finished Easter basket in a larger, outer box. If you used a traditional basket, make sure it is covered with plastic wrap so the contents will not spill out during shipping. Secure the basket with packing peanuts or bubble wrap. Make sure you use an adequate amount so it will not move or break while in transit.

Add a card and close up the box. Securely tape the box closed on all sides, and add an address and your own name and return address in the upper left-hand corner. Decorate with stickers if desired, but reserve the upper-right corner of the box for postage.
-
4
Using a permanent marker, mark "Fragile" on each side of the box.
-
5
Take the box to your local post office and ship it. If you want to be able to track it, consider buying delivery confirmation or adding insurance in case your package is lost or damaged.
