How to Get a Picture's URL From Photobucket

You can use Photobucket to host and share your photos online for free, but the real advantage in using the website is being able to copy the URL and embed your photo in another Web page. Even if you are not very familiar with HTML code, copying an image URL from Photobucket is simple and straightforward. Once you copy your image URL from Photobucket, use that URL to embed the image in a blog, website or social network profile that supports HTML, post the URL to social network sites like Twitter and Facebook, or share it with friends and family.

  • Navigate to and log in to your account.

  • Click the "My Albums" link at the top of the page to access your photo albums.

  • Locate the photo for which you want to copy the direct URL.

  • Hold your mouse over the photo to view the options window.

  • Click the "Direct Link" field. Photobucket automatically copies the URL to your clipboard when you click.
