How to Check Balance Messages on AT&T

With AT&T, one of the nation's largest cellular wireless providers, your phone can be used to check minutes, to upgrade your eligibility, to check your balance or make a payment. Using your phone to check these services is completely free and available at all times. In addition to checking this information with your phone, these services can be accessed with your computer.

Accessing Balance Messages From Your Cell Phone

  • Dial "Bal#" on your cellular device. If you have a QWERTY keyboard this can be accessed by pressing "225#."

  • Press the "Send" button on your mobile device.

  • Check your cellular device after a few minutes. You will receive a text message from AT&T (#101) with your account balance, the next due date of your payment and the date and amount of your last payment.

Accessing Balance Messages From Your Computer

  • Open your Internet browser and type att.com/mygophone.

  • Select "Go to account management" from the AT&T homepage. This button is located under the "Manage your GoPhone Account" link.

  • Enter your wireless phone number and your pin number to log in to your account. This page will redirect to your account and will show your account balance, the next due date of your payment and the date and amount of your last payment.
