How to Fix Your Computer in XP With a Very Slow Opening
The Windows XP operating system was released by Microsoft in 2001. It was designed to be the consumer-oriented version of the business-based Windows NT operating system. As you use your Windows XP-based computer and install additional software, your computer may slow down over time, especially during startup. Tips & Warnings
You can re-enable disabled programs and services by running "msconfig" again and rechecking the boxes.
Only disable unneeded items. For example, if you use iTunes, don't disable any iTunes services as they are required for proper operation of that program.
