LG enV cell phone users have the option of talking on the phone hands-free through the use of the speakerphone. When you turn on the speakerphone, the audio is routed from the earpiece to the speaker. You can place the phone down and move away from the phone when the speakerphone is turned on, as long as you and the person you are talking to can comfortably hear each other.
Make or receive a call on your LG EnV.
Pull open the top of the phone to access the the phone's keyboard. The phone flips open horizontally instead of vertically like many flip cell phones.
Push the "Speakerphone" button to turn on the speakerphone. The "Speakerphone" button is located to the right of the "CLR" button and below the navigation buttons on the right side of the keyboard. The button has a speaker symbol on it.
Press the "Speakerphone" button a second time to stop the speakerphone function and return to normal earpiece function.
Tips & Warnings
- You can close the flip part of the phone after turning on the speakerphone.
- Press the up or down volume buttons on the left side of the phone when the flip is closed to raise or lower the volume.
