TrueType fonts are widely available and often free. Find some styles you like and download them to your PC.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer Fonts Software
  1. Step 1

Locate the fonts you want to install. TrueType fonts have an extension of .TTF.

  2. Step 2

Click the Start menu, and then choose Settings and then Control Panel.

  3. Step 3

    Double-click the Fonts control panel.

  4. Step 4

Choose Install from the File menu.

  5. Step 5

Select the fonts you want to install, and then click OK.

Tips & Warnings
  • TrueType fonts contain all the information they need to print correctly in just one file. (PostScript fonts need two files.)
  • TrueType fonts weren't considered as high quality as PostScript fonts, but that's becoming less true.

on 9/7/2008 I should be more precise. I have a set of "floppy" disks which I used to install these fonts under DOS. The disks contain compressed files with extension .TT_
What I need to do first is to decompress thesem files before I can install them. I don't know how they were compressed. These Fonts were published by Casady & Greene.
