DIY Photo Greeting Cards
When you send a loved one a photograph of your family, she can see how everyone has changed and how well you are all doing. This can be particularly helpful if your loved one does not live close and cannot see you often. You can even incorporate a photo into a greeting card that you can give loved ones during the holidays. You can make photo greeting cards using materials that can be found at any craft supply store.

1
Cut out a rectangle from a sheet of card stock to measure 10 inches wide by 7 inches long. Fold the rectangle in half by its width and flatten the fold with your hand. This will make the card 5 inches wide by 7 inches long, which is the size of a standard greeting card.
-
2
Trim the edges of a 5-by-7-inch photograph using pinking shears. This will make the edges scalloped and ruffled. Trim 1/2 inch off of each side of the photograph.

3
Apply craft glue onto the back of the trimmed photo, and press the photograph onto the front of the greeting card. Center the photograph in the middle of the card, leaving a 1/2-inch spacing around the perimeter. Allow the craft glue to dry for 20 minutes.
-
4
Draw swirls or spirals in the space around the photograph using glitter glue. This will add a splash of color to the front of the card. Allow the glitter glue to dry for 10 minutes.
-
5
Write a personal message on the inside of the card using paint pens. Paint pens will allow you to write script in a more fluid manner than pencils. Allow the paint to dry for 20 minutes before delivering the photo greeting card.
