While the auto spell functionality on the iPad can be helpful, it can also be very annoying at times. Fortunately, there is a way to turn auto spell on and off on the iPad. Choose the setting that best fits your needs.

Instructions

1. Open the iPad "Settings" app by touching the appropriate app icon.

2. Select "General" from the menu on the left-hand side of the iPad screen.

3. Select "Keyboard" to enter the iPad keyboard settings.

4. Toggle the "Auto-Correction" switch to "Off" to turn off the iPad's auto spell.

Tips & Warnings

• You can also turn off auto-capitalization in the same "Keyboard" menu.
