How to Disable Skype in Firefox

Skype is a software program that enables real-time communication between two or more parties over the Internet and traditional telephone lines. Skype's main function is allowing people to talk to each other over the Internet with video using a webcam. Skype also has a toolbar for the Mozilla Firefox Web browser that provides for interaction between the Skype software and Firefox. If this toolbar is not needed, it can be disabled in Firefox.
