How to Use DNS for Faster Internet
The Domain Name System (DNS) converts human-recognizable domain names into
computer-friendly IP addresses. A DNS server is the Internet provider that you use to browse through Web. You can change to a different DNS server to speed up your Internet browsing. A DNS server is like a freeway: the more traffic, slower speeds; the less traffic, faster speeds. DNS services are available for free or for a monthly fee.
