How to Determine the Elo in "League of Legends"
The Elo rating system was originally created to rank chess players. The system was adapted to various sports and competitive computer games, including "League of Legends" ("LoL"). The system keeps track of players' Elo ratings to match gamers with opponents of comparable skill, but the formula used to calculate the rating is revised to suit "LoL" and isn't available to the public. Instead, players have to check the rating assigned to them via game logs.

Tips & Warnings
You have to play at least 10 games of a particular game type before the "League of Legends" servers will calculate your score. Before this point, every player starts with a score of 1,200.
Open your game logs in a word processor other than Notepad if you have one. Notepad will jumble some of the coding.
Underneath the numerical value of the Elo rating in a log is a value labeled "eloChange." This indicates how much your rating changed when your latest round was factored in. It may be positive or negative, depending on your performance.
