How to Check Your AT&T Calling Card Balance

Use your AT&T phone card to make calls from a pay phone.

AT&T sells phone cards with which you can place local, domestic, long-distance and international calls directly from landlines, cell phones and pay phones by calling a toll-free phone number. AT&T phone card users can check their balances online and add funds.

Instructions

1. Visit the AT&T phone card website (see Resources).

2. Locate the "Quick Balance" section at the top-right corner of the page. Check your phone card balance in this section.

3. Locate the "Toll-Free Access Number" on the back of your phone card. Enter the access number in the "Toll-Free Dial Number" field in the "Quick Balance" section.

4. Locate the PIN on the back of your phone card, enter it in the box next to "PIN" and click the blue "Go" arrow. You will see the remaining balance of your AT&T phone card when the new page opens.
