How to Upload a Video or Audio File From My Computer to Facebook
Just as you share photos on Facebook, you can also share videos you made -- giving your friends the chance to see you in more than a static image. Before you start, be sure you have the rights to distribute the material, and that your video is no more than 1 GB in size, or less than 20 minutes long. If you have the videos saved to your computer, the process for uploading them to Facebook is quite simple.

Log in to your Facebook account and click "Profile" to go to your profile.

Click the video camera icon above the "What's on your mind?" box. Click "Upload a video from your drive" in the box that appears below the icon.

Click "Choose File" to open a dialog box that directs you to your computer's files. Click on the name of the video file you would like to upload from the appropriate folder in your computer, then click "Choose."

Click "Share" at the next pane to begin the upload to your Facebook profile. An upload status box should appear somewhere on your screen to show how much time is remaining for your upload.

Log in to your Facebook account and click "Profile" to go to your profile.

Download the Facebook Music Player application. In the main page search box, type in "Music Player," which will bring up a link to the music player app. Download the application and allow the application access to your Facebook profile when requested.

Open your newly-installed music player application and click "upload song."

Choose your audio file from the files and folders on your computer and click "upload" once you've selected it. Keep in mind that you must be authorized to distribute the music, and a pop-up window will ask you to provide an electronic signature to verify it.

Tips & Warnings
Be sure to disable your popup blocker before beginning this process, as your upload status box and other permissions may appear as popups.
