How to Delete Notes on an iPhone

The Notes app is built in to your iPhone.

The Notes app on the iPhone gives you a place to jot down notes and keep reminders. It's also a place to store to-do lists, grocery lists and birthdays. Anything you need to remember can be recorded in the Notes app. For this reason, the notes you write tend to pile up. You don't have to let the list of Notes keep growing. Instead, delete old Notes once you no longer have a use for them.

Instructions

1. Tap the "Notes" icon to open the Notes app.

2. Tap the Note you want to delete to open that note.

3. Tap the picture of the trash can at the bottom of your screen.

4. Tap the red "Delete Note" in the box that pops up.

Tips & Warnings

• Once a Note is deleted, you can't get it back.
