Erase your Internet search results to prevent others from viewing them.

Your browser keeps a history of your actions on the Internet. This may include websites you've visited, form entries and text typed into the search bar. It does this to enhance your browsing experience so that you can find data quickly if you've searched for it previously. If you're on a public computer, however, it's best to erase this information. You can erase your search results altogether or specify the length of time you want it saved.
