Prom is an important rite of passage for many high school students who look forward to the opportunity to dress up and dance with their classmates. Creating the perfect prom environment requires advanced planning and coordination. Start a prom planning committee months before the event to ensure that you have adequate time to plan. Choosing decorations and foods that fit a theme gives your prom event a cohesive feeling. Remain aware of budgetary constraints when making your plans to avoid overspending.
