Visit a Western Union office or an authorized agent location, such as a convenience store, supermarket or post office. To find out the nearest location, click on "Find an Agent Location" on the Western Union website.

Complete the information on the "Green Money Transfer Form." You will need to provide the receiver's first name, last name, city and country. If you are choosing the option of home delivery, the receiver's complete address and phone number will also be required. Write out your own information and the amount to be sent in the appropriate sections.

Provide the completed Green Money Transfer Form, along with funds and the transaction fee to the customer representative. You can calculate the transaction by clicking on "Estimate Money Transfer Fees" on the website.

Take the receipt and the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) from the customer representative. The MTCN is a unique 10-digit number issued by Western Union. Sender and receiver both can check the status of the transfer online by clicking the "Track a Money Transfer" link on the website or by contacting the Customer Service Center.

Send the MTCN to the person who will be collecting the funds. He will then take the MTCN along with a valid photo ID to a Western Union agent to collect the money.
