A reverse osmosis system is one of the best consumer-model filtration systems on the market. A reverse osmosis filter has a prefilter and a reverse osmosis filter. Instructions

    • 1

Clear out the space under the sink so you have space to work.

    • 2

Mark the location where you wish the water filter faucet to sit, using a permanent marker. Fit your drill with a hole drill bit. Use a high speed steel (HSS) hole drill bit so it will cut through metal and use a bit that is slightly larger than the components running underneath the faucet. Drill the hole through the metal, applying light pressure to the back of the drill.

    • 3

Place the reverse osmosis (RO) faucet onto the top of the sink and clamp down the faucet using the supplied clamp for the faucet. Attach the included plastic hose to the faucet.

    • 4

Turn off the cold water supply by turning the supply valve to the "Off" position. Open the faucet to remove all water from the pipes.

    • 5

Place the self-piercing tap included with your kit onto the copper pipe and tighten the nut on the end clockwise until the sharp point pierces the copper pipe.

    • 6

Attach the supply hose to the self-piercing tap by pushing it onto the outlet nut and tightening the nut down.

    • 7

Place the supply tank under the sink and attach the other end of the supply hose to the tank. Attach all the hoses using the diagram provided with the system.

    • 8

Slowly loosen the nut on the self-piercing tap to start the flow of water into the supply tank. Open the osmosis faucet to get water pumping through the system. Flush the system according to the instructions.
