If you have a Droid instead of an iPhone, you can still listen to your iTunes music on the go.

By the beginning of 2009, iTunes already had sold more than 6 billion songs, with no sign of slowing down. However, Apple has designed the iTunes software to work only with other Apple products like iPods, iPhones and iPads. So if you've bought music through iTunes and want to listen to your music on your Droid phone, you won't be able to transfer the files using Apple's software. However there are several tools that will allow you to sync your iTunes library to your Droid.

      Download and install either DoubleTwist or Winamp on your computer. Double-click on the file to begin installation. Accept the license agreement and click "Next" through the installer until it completes.

      Launch the software, then choose to import your iTunes library and playlists. In Winamp, click "Library" then "Import iTunes Media Library" click "Library" again, then click "Import iTunes Playlists." In DoubleTwist click the "Import" menu, then choose "Import iTunes Library and Playlists."

      Download the matching app on your Droid. Tap the "Market" icon, then tap the search icon and type in either "DoubleTwist" or "Winamp," then tap the listing for the app and tap "Install." Wait for the app to download on your Droid. Open the new app.

      Plug your Droid into your computer. With DoubleTwist, you can press the "Sync" button on the main page to sync your iTunes library with your phone. With Winamp, click the "Devices" link on the left, then click your Droid and click the "Sync" button. Wait for the sync to complete.

      Open Winamp or DoublTwist on your Droid to listen to your iTunes music on your phone. Re-sync your Droid to your computer whenever you buy more songs through iTunes.
