Make your own photo cards for decorating and sending to relatives.

Sending greeting cards to family and friends is a good way to keep in touch. You can personalize them with your own photo rather than choose a generic card. The greeting card can feature photos of your family, dog, home, a new child or whatever you want to share. Choose from a few quick and easy methods to print your own photo cards.

Instructions

  1. Walmart

    • 1

Visit Walmart's website, scroll your mouse over "Photo" on the menu on the left side of the screen and click on "Greeting Cards."

    • 2

Click the "Get Started" button under the "Greeting Cards" option.

    • 3

Choose the theme and dimensions of your card. Upload your photo from your computer when prompted, fill in other details such as a message and finish.

    • 4

Pay for the cards and choose whether to pick them up at the store or have them delivered.

    Kodak Kiosk

    • 5

Visit Kodak's store locator (see Resources) to find a kiosk near you. Enter your ZIP code or city and state and click "Find."

    • 6

Bring a camera card, memory stick, compact disc, USB flash card or whatever digital device you use to store your photos. Plug or insert this device into the kiosk or scan the actual photo at the kiosk if all you have is the physical photo. Another option is to access the photo online using the kiosk.

    • 7

Use the kiosk's greeting card creator tool, edit your photo using the tools provided and add a message.

    • 8

Pay for the cards and print them at the kiosk.

    Photo Card Maker

    • 9

Make your own photo card for free with Photo Card Maker, which is freeware software. Visit the website (see Resources) and download and install the software.

    • 10

Open the program and start a new card. Choose which template you want and upload the photo from your computer when prompted.

    • 11

Add text to the card, if desired.

    • 12

Continue editing the card using the program's design tools until you are satisfied with the result.

    • 13

Print out the card when you are finished.
