Christmas decorations fill department stores each year, but decorating for Christmas doesn't have to cost a fortune. You can use the objects that you already have in your home to decorate with Christmas style. You can cover art and picture frames with wrapping paper to tie them into the Christmas theme. The finished product is a set of frames disguised as gifts on the wall.
Things You'll Need
- Wrapping paper
- Clear tape
- Gift bows
Lay a sheet of wrapping paper that is larger than the frame, printed-side down, on a flat surface.
Lay the frame, glass-side down over the center of the wrapping paper.
Pull each side of the wrapping paper tightly over the sides of the frame. Cut away the excess with scissors, leaving only 1/2 inch of the paper overlapping the back of the frame. Leaving the back of the frame free of paper allows you to access the hanging hardware to rehang the frame.
Tape the sides of the paper in place with strips of clear tape.
Hang the frame back in place on the hook or nail in the wall.
Stick a gift bow to the corner or center of each wrapped frame.
