How to Retrieve eTickets

Many airlines these days do business by way of an eTicket. An eTicket is a flight ticket purchased online either through the airline's website or through a third party website. With eTicket, you can search for the best deal and purchase tickets directly from your home computer. There are three ways in which you can retrieve an eTicket that you purchased online. To retrieve the eTicket, you will need your driver's license and a a printout of your eTicket receipt.

• Printout of your e-Ticket receipt

Instructions

1. Navigate to the airline's website that you are using for the flight. Every airline will allow you to check-in early on their website using the information from your eTicket. Input your identification information, such as your driver's license number, and print your boarding pass from home.

2. Retrieve your eTicket from your airline's self check-in kiosk at the airport. You will need your eTicket confirmation number, found on the receipt emailed to you, in addition to your driver's license. Your boarding pass will print out of the kiosk when the information is entered.

3. Retrieve your eTicket from the airline's check-in counter. Give the airline attendant your driver's license and printed eTicket receipt to receive your boarding pass for the flight.

4. Arrive to the airport a few hours before your flight is scheduled to depart, in case there are difficulties in retrieving your eTicket.
