YellowBook is source of free online yellow pages that maintains a large database of business listings nationwide. If you notice that a business listing is outdated, you can edit it yourself using the "Report Incorrect Info" page. This is particularly helpful if you are the business owner, as you can ensure that the correct information is listed on the YellowBook website.
Visit the YellowBook business listing you want to edit. If you do not know the direct URL, visit the YellowBook website and type the business name in the "What" box, and the location in the "Where" box. Click "Search" and click on the business listing in the search results.
Scroll down and click on "Report Incorrect Info" beneath the listing. This will bring you to the business listing edit page.
Correct the business listing using the post field. The fields you can edit include the name, address, telephone number, website and fax number.
Type your name, telephone number and e-mail address in the bottom section of the listing editor.
Input the characters as you see them to complete the "Captcha" puzzle. Click "Submit" to submit the correct business information. The changes will be reviewed and published.
