How to Configure the Framework 1.1 for WSUS
Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) allows computer administrators to integrate the newest Microsoft updates and fixes to systems running Windows Server. The .NET Framework 1.1 lets users and professionals run or create applications. WSUS requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack for Windows Server in order to function correctly. However, the WSUS install package does not install the .Net Framework 1.1 Service Pack, so it requires manual installation before updating Windows Server.
