How to Become a Good Traditional Archer

Traditional archery is about using a simple bow.

Traditional archery is all about using a simple bow, not a compound one, and learning how to aim. Archery stands as one of the oldest forms of weapons, and in the hands of a master can easily replace a gun or other similar projectile weapons. Learning how to be a good archer is about mastering basic maneuvers, knowing how to shoot and how to aim your arrow.

Instructions

1. Notch your arrow, which means to take the notch in the back of the arrow and place the string between it, then wrap your first three fingers around the back tip of the arrow.

2. Pull the arrow back until the string is past your cheek.

3. Close your left eye, look at the front tip of your arrow in relation to your target. It should line up with the center of your target.

4. Release the arrow, and it will fly into your target.
