How to Send Pokemon From "Pokemon Yellow" to "Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness"

"Pokemon XD: Gale Of Darkness" is a Nintendo GameCube game where you play as a Pokemon trainer that has to stop the evil Cipher organization. You will have to catch shadow Pokemon and purify them to use in the battle against "Cipher." The game allows you to import Pokemon from any of the Game Boy Advance Pokemon titles to the game using a link cable. "Pokemon Yellow," along with "Red" and "Green," is a title for the original Game Boy, but they have been remade for the Game Boy Advance in the form of "FireRed" and "LeafGreen."

Instructions

    • 1

Complete the entire quest in "Pokemon XD: Gale Of Darkness." This will open up the ability to trade with the Game Boy Advance games.

    • 2

Catch at least 60 different Pokemon in "LeafGreen" or "FireRed," then speak to Professor Oak. This rewards you with the "National Dex," which is one of the trading requirements. Also fix the network machine on Island 1 by taking the Sapphire and Ruby items to it.

    • 3

Complete "Pokemon: LeafGreen" or "FireRed" and have your Pokemon entered into the hall of fame. This happens automatically after you defeat Gary at the end of the game.

    • 4

Save your Game Boy Advance game with your character inside any Pokecenter.

    • 5

Go to the basement of the Pokecenter in Phenac City on "Pokemon XD." Talk to the woman behind the counter there to start the trade process. Connect your Game Boy Advance to your GameCube using a game link cable.

    • 6

Select the Pokemon from the Game Boy Advance game that you want to send to "Pokemon XD" and vice versa to complete the trade. "Pokemon: FireRed" and "LeafGreen" both contain all of the Pokemon found in "Pokémon: Yellow"; this is the only way to send them to "Pokemon XD."
