How to Register a Prepaid Card

Save

Companies such as Visa and MasterCard offer prepaid credit cards that allow you to load money on to a card to use for purchases. If you do not have a bank account, the prepaid card can come in handy for online purchases, online bill pay, or to use to pay at the gas pump. Once you have your prepaid card you must register the card to protect your money in case the card is lost or stolen. Registering your card will also allow you to keep track of the stored amount and in some cases, refill the card. Registering only takes a few minutes and your card will be activated for use once the process is complete.
