How to Design My Shower Online

Before the Internet, people had to rely on interior designers and trips to the hardware store to design custom showers for their remodeling projects. Now, you can design the shower of your dreams with a few clicks of the mouse. Online shower design tools make it very easy to create custom designs that you can then use as guides to purchase the proper materials or as a base design to help the professionals make suggestions on what will work for your price range and space constraints.

Instructions

1. Navigate to an online custom shower design tool (see Resources).

2. Choose the mixing valve type for your custom shower. The mixing valve controls the water temperature and the type of valve determines the number of shower heads your custom shower will support.

3. Select the type or types of shower head and spray systems you want to include. Choose from normal shower heads, rain heads, hand sprayers and body sprayers.

4. Browse for the components you selected in the previous steps. Choose the quantities indicated by the design tool and click the "Add to Cart" button. This will not result in a purchase but is necessary to receive a diagram of the design. Repeat this process for each of the components indicated by the design tool.

5. Click on the "Print" button to print the diagram of your custom shower.
