How to Print a 1099 Miscellaneous Form

Form 1099-MISC, or the 1099 Miscellaneous Form, is a document available by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Taxpayers use Form 1099-MISC to report miscellaneous income of $600 or more for non-employee service income. For example, a freelance web designer may submit Form 1099-MISC for payments received for his services. You can print copies of Form 1099-MISC from your web browser or PDF Reader.

Print Form in Web Browser

  • Open Form 1099-MISC at the Internal Revenue Service website.

  • Go to the menu bar at the top of the browser, and click "File." If you are using Internet Explorer and the menu bar is not visible, press the "F10" key on your keyboard to display the menu bar.

  • Click "Print" in the drop-down menu. A new dialog window will appear. Under "Name" in the "Printer" section, select the printer you want to use.

  • Click the "Print" button. Check your printer for the printed copy of the form.
