      Open the Lumina's hood and use a socket wrench to unplug the negative terminal.

      Uninstall the attaching bolts and nuts from the insulating shield under the glove compartment. Remove the insulating shield to allow access to the blower motor.

      Disconnect the electrical connection from the motor. Unplug the blower motor cooling tube.

      Remove the blower attaching screws and remove the motor from the assembly.

      Place a new motor onto the blower and reinstall the attaching screws.

      Reconnect the blower's electrical connection and reconnect the cooling tube.

      Reinstall the insulating shield and reconnect the battery.
