How to Enable the Front Sound Card of ASUS M2N Amp5

ASUS is an inexpensive Windows based computer company that focuses primary on laptops. Most of the ASUS laptops have a front installed sound card (such as the M2N Amp5), giving you access to sound controls directly at the front of the computer. Typically, the sound card on the computer comes enabled, but if not, you need to install the driver that informs the computer of how exactly to use and function with the front installed card.

Instructions

1. Power on the ASUS computer and navigate to the driver download site.

2. Click "Download," the current operating system version running on your computer, "Utilities" and click the "Global" download link.

3. Double-click the downloaded driver to load the installation wizard onto your ASUS computer screen.

4. Click "Next" for both the installation name and location, then choose "Install." Wait for the ASUS audio driver to install and the computer restarts automatically. Once it restarts, your sound card will be enabled and you can begin using the audio controls on your computer system.
