Instructions

    • 1

Choose a location for your quilt. Protect your quilt from damage by choosing a location that isn't exposed to direct sunlight or near heat and air ducts. Keep in mind that a large quilt will be the focal point in a small room.

    • 2

Purchase a 2-inch wide strip of self-adhesive Velcro at your local craft or sewing store. Measure your quilt to get the length of Velcro you'll need to buy.

    • 3

Cut a strip of Velcro to fit the top edge of your quilt. Peel off the adhesive backing, and press it firmly along the top edge of your quilt. Secure it with straight pins if the quilt is particularly heavy.

    • 4

Attach the corresponding strip of Velcro to the wall where you want your quilt to hang. If you don't want to apply adhesive Velcro directly to your wall, you can apply it to a strip of wood the same length as your quilt that has been nailed to the wall.

    • 5

Hang the quilt on the wall by firmly pressing the two Velcro strips together. Run your fingers along the top edge of the quilt to make a secure connection once the quilt is hung.
