How to Paint Dots on Your Toenails

Applying dots of color to your toenails is a simple process, but it is best to practice your technique on a piece of paper beforehand to make sure you can create the size you want. Once you have your technique down pat, you will be able to add style to your feet in just a few minutes.

Things You'll Need

• Nail polish
• Paper towel
• Bobby pin
• Clear polish

Instructions

1. Apply a base coat to your toenails and allow it to dry completely.

2. Straighten out a bobby pin by grabbing onto the ends and bending them in opposite directions.

3. Dip one end of the bobby pin into your nail polish. To avoid getting too much paint onto the bobby pin, drop a small amount of polish onto a paper towel using the brush and then dip the bobby pin into the polish on the towel.

4. Touch the painted bobby pin to your nail lightly to create a dot.

5. Apply two layers of clear polish once the dots are dry.
