How to Add a Widget
A widget, also known as a gadget, is an application that can be added to your blog customizing it to do some pretty amazing things. You can offer your readers RSS feed services to receive your posts the instant they go live. You can provide news, weather, sports and stock market feeds to give your visitors the latest updates. Add search engines, social media, links to other pages and websites, your recent posts, archived articles, polls, the list goes on and on. Where it once was necessary to know how to work with html code, current blog publishing tools have made it easy for anyone to install widgets.
