Spread a table runner over the length of the table. It should be in a spring color, such as light pink, light purple, bright orange or bright yellow.
-
2
Cut a few flowers from your garden, or purchase a spring bouquet from a store. Arrange the flowers in a small, narrow vase.
-
-
3
Place the narrow vase inside a larger clear vase or container.
-
4
Fill the space between the container and the vase with Easter candies, such as jelly beans or pastel-colored Jordan almonds.
-
5
Form a handful of Spanish moss into a disc shape. Pull some moss away from the center so it looks like a nest. Place a few candies in the nest. Make one for each guest, and slip a piece of paper with the guest's name into each nest to serve as place cards.
-
6
Cut egg shapes approximately the size of regular chicken eggs from decorative papers. Punch a hole in the top of each egg.
-
7
Roll cloth napkins into tubes. Slip an egg shape onto a piece of ribbon, and tie a ribbon around each napkin to secure it.
