1
Decide how big you want your invitations to be. If you already have envelopes for them, make sure the sizes correspond. If you want to hand them to guests as you would hand out tickets, without envelopes, size does not matter.
-
2
Cut the invitations out of the paper once you have decided on the size. Cut a notch in one side of the invite so it will be shaped like an actual movie ticket.

3
Come up with a creative way to word invitations and write the information on the "tickets." Write "Admit One" across the top or side of the ticket. On the top line, write something like, "Join us for Kyle's Movie Adventure" or "A Tale of Cynthia's Birthday." Get creative. Under that, write when the movie premiere will be taking place and a phone number guests can respond to.
-
4
Jazz up the invitations with some glitter, stickers or other embellishments. Let your child help you with this part.
-
5
Deliver invitations by hand for extra pizazz. Hand the guests their invitation and a fun, movie-themed gift such as a bag of microwave popcorn, small fake Oscar statuette or movie star sunglasses.
