The GL1800 is made for long trips.

A Honda Goldwing 1800 is a large two seat touring motorcycle with a high performance engine. The radiator is located below the handlebars just under the air filter box, and holds one gallon of Honda pre-mixed radiator fluid. On the bottom of the radiator is the drain valve. You need a few tools and about ten minutes to fill your radiator with fresh fluid.

  • Catch pan
  • Box wrench set
  • Funnel
  • One gallon radiator fluid

Instructions

      Place the catch pan under the drain valve on the bottom of the radiator. Remove the nut with a box wrench and drain the fluid into the catch pan.

      Replace the nut to the valve and tighten it. Remove the cap from the top of the radiator on the right side. Insert a funnel into the radiator.

      Pour the Honda motorcycle radiator into the radiator. Pour half of the bottle into the radiator and replace the cap to the radiator.

      Start the GL1800 and allow the engine to run for one minute. Stop the engine and remove the radiator cap. Pour the remaining fluid into the radiator and replace the cap.
