How to Install a Ford F-150 Factory Navigation

Your navigation system keeps you from getting lost.

The Ford F-150 is an all-wheel drive-pickup truck. It includes Ford Sync and a navigation system. Your Ford F-150 should already come equipped with a navigation system. If so, all you need to do is install the DVD navigation system from your Ford dealer. If not, you will have to take your pickup truck to the Ford dealership to see if you can have the navigation installed.

Instructions

1. Contact Ford at 800-392-3673. Follow the prompts to access customer service. Ask the representative for a navigation DVD.

2. Provide your full name and street address. Wait between 7 and 10 days for the DVD to arrive.

3. Enter your car. Insert the DVD in the navigation system, located in the upper part of the unit.

4. Place the car in park. The navigation DVD will begin automatically. Your navigation system will automatically update to the DVD.

• Update your navigation system every 6 months.
