How to Monogram on a Sewing Machine
Use your sewing machine to add a personalized monogram to a variety of fabrics, such as handkerchiefs, clothing and table linens. Before monogramming, prewash the fabric to avoid shrinking and press it thoroughly. Many monogram designs and patterns are available in different scripted or plainer fonts. Monogramming adds a personal touch to your items and to gifts. You may want to practice the monogram on a small swatch of the fabric before creating the final design.
