How to Use the Verbatim Store 'N' Go

The Verbatim Store 'N' Go is a portable USB flash drive that features a retractable connector. The flash drive allows you to back up any file on your computer. The Store 'N' Go line of flash drives comes in a variety of storage capacities, ranging from 2GB to 64GB. Setting up and using the Verbatim Store 'N' Go Flash drive is simple. Soon you will be able to carry your must crucial documents with you in your pocket.

Insert the Verbatim Store 'N' Go flash drive into an available USB port on your computer and wait for your operating system to recognize and automatically install the device's latest drivers. Double click on the "My Computer" shortcut on your computer's desktop and locate the "Devices With Removable Storage" heading. Click on the drive letter that corresponds to the Store 'N' Go flash drive to access its data.

Disconnect your Verbatim Store 'N' Go flash drive when the device is not in use using your computer's "Safety Remove" feature. Right-click on your Verbatim flash drive's icon at the bottom right corner of the screen and select the "Safely Remove Hardware" tab. Wait until the LED light on your Verbatim Store 'N' Go flash drive stops flashing and gently remove it from your computer.

Disable the Windows ReadyBoost feature if you intend to use the Verbatim Store 'N' Go strictly as a portable storage device. Double click on the "My Computer" icon on your computer's desktop. Right-click on your Verbatim flash drive and select the "Drive Letter" tab. Click on the "Properties" tab at the top of the screen. Click on the "ReadyBoost" button and check off the box to the right of the option titled "Do Not Use This Device". Press "OK" to finalize your settings changes.
