How to Refresh a JVC Camcorder Battery

You can recharge a JVC camcorder battery using the AC adapter included with the camcorder. Instead of using a separate charger, the battery for the JVC camcorder can be recharged while still connected to the camcorder. If you are replacing your JVC camcorder battery, make sure to use a battery either from JVC or supported by JVC. Using a different battery can cause damage to the camcorder and the battery.

Instructions

1. Insert the JVC camcorder battery into the slot on the back of the camera. The arrow marking on the battery should face up.

2. Push the battery up, toward the top of the camera, until it clicks into place.

3. Insert the AC adapter into the jack just above the battery.

4. Plug the AC adapter into an electrical outlet. A light next to where you plugged in the AC adapter will begin to blink. When the light goes out, the battery is fully charged.
