How to Get Married on the Princess Cruise Line
Destination weddings give the bride and groom a chance to get married in a location with better weather, scenery and local cultural cuisine. You can get married on a Princess Cruise to the destination of your choice in a private ceremony or will all of your friends and family. Your wedding ceremony can be on the deck of your Princess ship or on a secluded beach at one of the ports of call. No matter where and when in your cruise you choose to get married, the Princess Cruise Line Wedding Consultants will be there to help you throughout the process.

1
Pick a cruise destination and travel time. You will want to pick your cruise dates and destination before looking further into wedding packages. It will be nice to have your entire family along for the cruise and wedding at sea, but do not worry if not everyone can make it or afford to go along. The Princess Cruise Line offers a Haborside ceremony, where guests can see you get married without having to go on the cruise with you. This ceremony takes place at the port just before the ship sets sail.

2
Decide when during your cruise you wish to tie the knot. If you choose not to have a Haborside ceremony, you will then want to decide if you are going to get married in one of the ship's chapels or at one of the ports of call. If you have family members who were unable to make it on the cruise, you might want to have your wedding in one of the chapels and take advantage of the ship's wedding cams. These cameras offer a live feed of your wedding over the Internet to your family back home. If this is not something you want, pick a port of call to have your wedding on the beach or at a historical destination.

Place a deposit on your cruise. Before you can even start booking your wedding package, you will need to be booked on the cruise with the deposit paid. This will ensure you a place on the ship, so the wedding coordinators know when and where your cruise will take place. This information will be needed when making your wedding package plans.

Choose which wedding package you want. The Princess Cruise Line offers different wedding packages complete with live music, champagne, flowers, photographer, wedding cake and a souvenir wedding certificate. Some wedding packages also include use of the wedding chapel and a small room to host a mini-banquet as your reception.

5
Contact a wedding specialist with Princess Cruise Line. Now that you know when you are traveling, when during your cruise you want to get married and which wedding package you desire, it is time to contact one of the Princess Cruise Line wedding specialists. The specialist will work with you to help create the wedding package of your dreams and will give advice as to which options work best for the type of wedding you want.

Let all of your friends and family know. Send out invitations and travel information to friends and family you wish to come along. If you are not planning on having guests with you on your trip, you can send an announcement with details on how to log onto the wedding cam for your ceremony.

Book your final wedding plans with the cruise line. Let your wedding specialist know how many people will be attending your wedding, and make proper arrangements for seating, cocktails and food. Full payment is required at the time of booking wedding packages.
