How to Recover a Modified Unsent Email Attachment

Many email programs allow you to attach files to messages. This is handy when you need to share photos or documents with friends and co-workers. At times, you may have to modify an attached file. After you change the document or photo, you may want to recover your modified unsent email attachment from your email program.

Instructions

1. Launch your email client or log in to your web-based email account.

2. Double-click the folder where your unsent or draft emails are stored.

3. Double-click the unsent email that contains the modified attachment.

4. Address the email to yourself and click the "Send" button. This will cause the email to be sent to your account with the modified email attached.

5. Double-click the email when it arrives in your inbox. Right-click the attachment and choose to download the attachment to your hard drive.
