Drink at least eight or nine, 8 oz. glasses of water per day to keep your body hydrated and maintain elasticity in your skin.

Choose a moisturizer formulated for your skin type that contains vitamin C. Apply moisturizer daily preserve elasticity. Apply an emollient rich night cream before you go to sleep. If you don't have oily skin, an emollient rich cream will help to keep your skin supple.

Visit a professional esthetician once or twice a month during your weight loss journey. Ask for a facial and treatments exfoliate and hydrate your skin. Request skin tightening masque treatments. Request facial massages to improve skin texture. Facial massage promotes and boosts skin elasticity by stimulating blood flow to the face.

You can also do some of your facial treatments and massages at home. If you don't know which skin care products to use, ask a professional esthetician for recommendations in your price range.
Avoid skin care products that list mineral oil as an ingredient. Mineral oil is an irritant that may clog your pores. Plan to lose weight gradually. If you lose weight too fast, it may result in extra skin sagging.
