1
Pick hairpieces that are as similar to your natural hair color as possible. At least three hairpieces are needed to cover a normal-sized head, but it's worth asking a store attendant if you will need more.
-
2
Comb your hair thoroughly to ensure there are no knots or kinks.
-
-
3
Use the comb to make a straight horizontal parting from your temple to the back of your crown. Secure the top section of your hair with a clip.
-
4
Hold the hairpiece tight against your head and clip the beginning of the hairpiece into your hair at the front of the parting. Keeping the hairpiece held taut, continue clipping it in as you follow the line of the parting.
-
5
Continue clipping it in, swapping to a new extension when necessary. Use the comb to continue creating a parting around the head.
-
6
After all the hairpieces have been added, unclip the top section of your hair and let it fall over the join of the hairpiece. Style as normal.
