How to Receive TV From a Broadband Telephone Line
Receiving TV through a broadband telephone connection is possible as long as you have the right software for it. A number of websites offer television shows, both pre-recorded and live on their websites for free (some do charge a fee and others offer premium services for a fee). As long as your connection is fast enough and you are located in the right country (some of these websites allow access only to those from certain countries), you can watch TV with a browser.

Tips & Warnings
If you want to receive live television with your broadband telephone connection, this is available as well from Livestation, Zattoo and Ivi (Note that Zattoo is not available in the United States while Livestation is available everywhere and Ivi --while technically available everywhere, is primarily available in the United States). Note that you'll have to download a proprietary player for all three of these services, as they don't work via a Web browser.
