How to Configure a Panasonic PBX

The Panasonic PBX is an advanced hybrid version of a wired/wireless communication phone system. This advanced phone allows the user to make regular phone calls, host conference calls and access advanced programming. The system lets its users share a certain amount of outside lines and allow phone calls through the use of T1 lines. It can provide up to 448 extensions as well as 192 central office lines with the addition of expansion cards. The system can be configured and programmed in a variety of ways depending on the end users' needs.

Instructions

    • 1

      Press the "LCD ADJ" button located on the back of the phone and lift the display in the upper right corner to adjust its position. Remove your finger from the "LCD ADJ" button when finished.

      Adjust the volume of the ringer with the jog dial marked "Ringer" on the right-hand side of the phone. Move it to the right for louder sound and the left for softer sound.

      Configure the handset volume by lifting the receiver and adjusting the jog dial labeled "Ringer" on the right-hand side of the phone. Move it to the right to increase the volume and to the left to decrease it.

      Adjust the speaker volume by pressing the "SP-Phone" button, located on the front of the phone, and using the jog dial on the right-hand side of the phone.

      Configure the LCD contrast by selecting the "S1" button located on the left-hand bottom side of the LCD display and using the "+" and "-" volume keys to brighten or darken the display.
